    Hello,

Building a lasting legacy goes beyond wealth and fame—it’s about making a positive impact and leaving a lasting mark on the world. It involves leading a purposeful life, intending to ensure our influence lasts beyond our time.

Would you be open to a guest blog post on crafting a prideful legacy? I aim to explore key principles like fostering meaningful relationships, pursuing passions, and contributing to society, all essential elements of a legacy that stands the test of time.

If this resonates with your audience, feel free to get in touch.

    Thank you!

    Good afternoon,

I was in contact in late August/early September regarding using the trail for a Book Walk sponsored by the Black Earth Public Library and the WHSD school libraries. We have our materials ready now, and I just wanted to double check that it is OK to use the trail for this event from November 1 through 21. We have a Thanksgiving themed book ready for November 22 through mid-December assuming the weather is cooperative.

I would be interested in organizing a 5k run/walk starting in 2021 or possible 2022

I’m contacting you from the high school. I need to get some information from the Wolf Run Association so we can get you added as a vendor. The class of 2020 would like to donate so they can have some benches made in their honor. If you could contact me at the email below or call the high school, I would appreciate it. Thank you!

I love this trail! For my 65th birthday in July I bought myself a bike and have been riding to the high school and back at least three times a week. It’s beautiful.

My only concern is that recently someone (I’m sure well-intentioned) planted what appear to be some non-native flowers. I would hope that the Wolf Run Association would commit to the preservation of what native landscape exists. I am aware that the trail runs along a corn field and that is not going to change. But I urge the Wolf Run Association to promote the preservation and even the restoration of the natural landscape.

Introducing non-native, species into this environment is unnecessary. This recent planting seems to be an attempt to add some color to those informational signs. There are many native species that bloom at all different times of the year and are quite colorful. Sources of such plants are abundant. For example the UW-Arboretum has a native plant sale every year.

I love the trail and its natural beauty. Let’s not make it look like our back yards.

Where is the erosion control for the new work being done on the corner of Cramer and Hudson? I worry about the health of the creek if we get some rain.

I’m new to Mazo and wondering if the trail will be groomed for skiing or if it’s strictly for hikers and snowmobiles? I think it would be a great place to ski with it being a very wide trail and I know that I would be there nearly every day if that were the case. I know Dane County Parks will groom their trails for skiing regularly, so that would be great if they could do this trail as well. Let me know what you think.

Please repost the WINTER SOLSTICE BONFIRE invitation as I have used the website for reference in flyers and event promotions. Directions should be easily located and the party invite one of the easy pages to find. Thanks

WOLF RUN TRAILHEAD HAS NO REAL STREET ADDRESS .

Is there an event webpage? Channel 3000 wants to know.

Good morning, I worked yesterday on creating flyers for the Winter Solstice Bonfire Party. The sign on the entrance to town will put up Solstice Bonfire info on Saturday after the Santa visit info comes down. I might add that I don’t believe we will have to pay. ThankYou Jodee and Tony Walker.Santa has higher authority this year, but we will still get some attention from that.

Mazo Mobile station would only allow the flyer I made to be posted on the bullitin board in the back between the Men’s and Ladies.

Family Dollar delighted in posting a flyer right at the cash register. Thanks ladies!

madison.com has it on thier facebook page, so do HTHH, High Tech Happy Hour, Meetups, and several Madison facebook Group pages. More to come today, like the local TV stations, Gilda’s Red Door Cancer Center,

Woodland Hills Neighborhood Assocation where I live on the Madison/Middleton border, has invited the entire membership to come to the Party and be introduced to the WOLF RUN TRAIL which is a whole new great recreational resource that is only 20 minutes away. For many it will be a great year round hang out that is better than the activities in our neck of the woods.

My Condo Association will send out a group invite today. It would be funny to meet a neighbor on the trail, as I have never even seen most of them outside.

Costco has promised they will do something, but not sure exactly what and where. I hit the Community Center bullitin board, but missed the rest of the Historic District due to an ink and paper outage late in the day, so exhausted, I returned home.

I will make more flyers today in Madison but I want to say thanks to the Mazo Library, we got some done for free with the help of the Librarian and another interested patron who put input on a flyer I made to be printed in B&W.

Next year I will start much earlier and get people before they gave made other plans. I am afraid we got off to a very late start to be ahead of the game when it comes to holiday plans and RSVP’s.

I’ll keep you posted. If you have any suggestions, pleasr email me @ [email protected]

How can we get dog owners to keep their dogs on a leash? Not everyone is comfortable with dogs running up to them while being loose. Is there a way to put something on the big Mazo sign? Thank you.
